Working Together
How a Project
Works
We keep the process transparent and straightforward. Here is exactly what happens from your first message to your app being in users' hands — and what we expect from each other along the way.
-
Discovery & Scoping
We start with a free call or written exchange to understand your idea, your users, and the problem you're solving. No pressure — it's a conversation, not a pitch. By the end we'll both know whether we're the right fit for each other.
-
Proposal & Quote
We put together a written proposal: what we'll build, what's out of scope, a realistic timeline, and a fixed price. No vague estimates, no billable-hour surprises. You'll know the full cost before anything is signed.
-
Agreement
We sign a plain-English contract that protects both parties. You own everything we create — code, designs, assets. A deposit is paid at signing; the remainder on delivery.
-
Design
Before writing a line of code, we produce wireframes and simple UI designs for your review. You see exactly what we'll build and give feedback while changes are cheap. We iterate until you're happy to proceed.
-
Build
Development happens in short cycles with regular check-ins. You get access to a test build throughout so you can see progress in real-time. Feedback is welcomed at each stage — surprises at the end are not our style.
-
Launch
We handle the submission to Google Play (and the App Store if applicable), walk you through any store listing requirements, and make sure everything is ready for users on day one. Final payment is due on delivery.
-
Support
We offer a post-launch support period to handle any early issues and ensure things run smoothly. Beyond that, ongoing maintenance, updates, and new features can be arranged — just ask.
Common Questions
Things people
ask us
-
It depends on scope. A focused app with a clear brief typically takes 8–16 weeks from design to launch. Larger or more complex projects take longer. We'll give you a concrete timeline in the proposal — we don't start the clock until we've both agreed on scope.
-
We work on fixed-price projects. You get a single number for the defined scope — no hourly billing, no surprise invoices. A deposit is paid at the start and the balance on delivery. If you want to add features during the build, we handle that as a separate, agreed change order.
-
You do. Once final payment is made, all intellectual property — source code, design files, assets — transfers to you. We retain no rights to your product. We may ask to list the work in our portfolio; you can decline.
-
Yes. We work remotely and have no geographic restriction on clients. Everything is handled asynchronously — written communication, video calls when useful, and shared documents. The timezone rarely matters for a well-scoped project.
-
Absolutely. We build apps to be extended — clean code, documented handoffs, no black boxes. Post-launch additions are scoped and quoted as new work. Many clients come back for updates once they've seen how their users respond.
-
Currently we focus on Android. iOS support is on our roadmap — get in touch if it's important to your project and we can discuss what's possible.
